First journeying with the Sea Lords to Ithacus on board the Atalanta, Hvitserk Yngvarson has served in the Sea Lord fleet since the expedition to retrieve the sword of hope. The son of a tribal Chieftain, Hvitserk lives in exile from his people the Zeflings who dwell in the icy lands north of the Coldfell River.
Originally just a contracted mercenary, Hvitserk quickly rose through the ranks receiving an officer's commission upon the departure from Ithacus, as well as his first command. The speedy ship “Trident” was entrusted to his command following its capture as a prize of war. Hvitserk elected to crew the Trident with fellow mercenaries and various foreign warriors, which grew to form the bulk of the Sea Lord’s elite Raiders. Known for their ferocity and daring in battle, the Raiders also enjoy the infamous reputation as the most roguish privateers in the Sea Lord Fleet (which is saying a lot, considering).
For his continued service and the tactical success of the Raiders, Captain Hvitserk has been elevated to the Commodore's right hand. Remarking upon the status of Throi as a sovereign nation, Hvitserk is rumored to have said "As long as the blood coin flows and we raid often, Throi can count us among her most loyal defenders."
