After Duke Killian joined the Knights of the Order of Luminos, Tove took over command of the Hearth-Guard and turned this powerful fighting force into a group of warriors loyal only to themselves, and to herself. With the balance of power constantly shifting in Olaran, the Hearth-Guard remain a force to be reckoned with. Once the back-bone of the army, they now follow Tove’s commands, making her one of the most influential military leaders in the country.

Tove has been as cunning as she is bold, both on the battlefield and in diplomacy. She proved her ability to plan creatively when she allied herself with the Sea Lords at the Battle of the Thornwood. Now the Hearth-Guard, under Tove’s command, have broken away from Olaran, and formed their own nation at the southern base of the Fire Mountains.
